“ Had dinner here. Starters and pizza were amazing. I loved the pizza. The kids menu was amazing. Our girl loved the huge cookie she got. Loved it, very beautiful ambiance, would definitely recommend it. Sophie is an amazing server, and our family loves her services. Yummy food and great staff ”
“ I visited with a friend for their pizza and pitcher special. The pizza was an excellent Chicagostyle, cracker thin, tavern style. The crust was remarkably crispy all the way to the center of the 14 pizza. The flavor was very good, too. The building is essentially a giant log cabin, so that will give you a good idea of what to expect in terms of the atmosphere log cabin. Very pleasant, IMO. It seemed very clean. Theres a 1970s pizza pub throwback feel thats enhanced by the tasty peanuts youre given when seated. But instead of tossing the shells in the floor as was trendy in the 70s, youre given a metal pail to toss them into. Service was friendly and attentive. We ate at the bar and it was an early Saturday afternoon when it was relatively quiet, so that may have helped, but I was very pleased with the service. ”
“ Nicks Pizza Pub in Elgin is one of those spots that just feels like home. I love going thereespecially because of the peanuts they give you while you wait for your food. It totally brings back memories of the good old days when you could toss the shells right on the floor. Even though you cant do that anymore, just having the peanuts still gives off that same nostalgic vibe. And the pizza? Always hits the spot. Great food, awesome atmosphere, and a place I keep coming back to. ”
“ Stopped in with our football team after a game and we were not disappointed. We had 16 in our group unplanned so no reservation they were great about getting us all together. Waitress were super kind and helpful as many of us had not been there before. We ordered several pizzas. The one I had was a Bruschetta pizza and I have to say it was the best pizza Ive had in a long time. Thin crust was nice and crunchy the flavors were just amazing. ”
“ Nicks Pizza is fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly, and I love that they support local schools with a reading program that rewards kids for reading every day. Plus, their pizza is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! Oh and free peanuts with your pizza lol ”
“ Nicks is our favorite place to take the family for dinner because of the casual and rustic atmosphere, the great service and the yummy pizza. We live in St. Charles, but prefer to escape the congestion of our town. We have always had amazing service, and we exceptionally happy with our recent server Lindsey!! Professional yet inviting, she easily made sure even our pickiest eaters got their order 100 correct! Big thanks to Lindsey and Nicks! ”
“ We met up with our son and daughter in law for lunch. Nice relaxing meal. I was intrigued by a specialty wine on menu and was offered a tasting which I felt was generous. My husband enjoyed his pizza and the leftovers. I had the fish and chips which was good. We enjoyed the woodsy atmosphere especially the aquariums. I am a fish enthusiast so Im biased. Service was great all around. We will return. So the only notable weird thing about Nicks is its location with Google Maps. We drove in from Rockford. South on Randall then we are directed to turn off on to a gravel road to reach restaurant. Son came from opposite direction and received same instructions. When we left we drove through a neighborhood to get on to main road in order to head north on Randall. ”
“ Guest friendly staff, good quality food, variety of options in the menu with reasonable prices.always recommended. ”
